Do we need a new Aaliyah site?

Posts: 2 07/17/08 13:05:07	Tags : None I've noticed the official Aaliyah site has gone done, from what I understand, due to financial problems or something? So instead I began to look for any decent fan sites for Aaliyah out there on the web. The findings were pretty slim, this seems to be one of the main ones I found though. I see these forums have a few recent posters int hem. So I have two questions: 1. Does anyone have more word on what is going on with Aaliyah.com? 2. Would you like to see a new established Aaliyah fan site? I have some experience in both web design and graphic art, so I was thinking of making my own Aaliyah fan site, due to my disappointment in the lack of fan sites on the web. Would anyone be interested in this? The site would be fairly simple, with perhaps a bio/discography/filmography/pictures/wallpapers etc, and then it would also have an accompanying forum, with both chat on Aaliyah and just general chat for Aaliyah fans to form a friendly community. If anyone would be interested, let me know, and perhaps I'll try to do something.

I will see if I can try to find the link in the next few days. This board, which I am part owner of, started falling off at least a year ago, so for the last 8 months or so, I've checked in on it very little - sorry. Posts: 2 07/26/08 17:47:05	Hmm, I see that Liyah Love Loyalty forum is super popular. Not too attractive of an interface though. Lots of traffic though, that's for sure. Making a whole website by myself is a lot of work, but maybe I'll mess around in Photoshop sometime and see what sort of banners I can make for the site in order to get a feel for the theme I'd be going for and such. I'll see. If anyone here has any suggestions as far as what they would like to see on an Aaliyah site or whatever feel free to share!

Posts: 7065 08/02/08 21:42:22 /.\Ez Queen	My only suggestion is don't allow yourself to get consumed by it! Don't spend all your free time invested in making the site - the best, bigger, better. Been there, done that. Stuff people usually include are..... Bio, Pics, Videos, Audio, Awards, Discography, Filmography, Articles - past and present, Fan art I think that is enough to give you a good start.
